Social Spark is a great way to earn money by writing sponsored posts on your blog. I not only use Social Spark as a way to monetize my own blogs, but I also take it one step further to earn free residual income every month from other bloggers.
Social Spark offers a great referral program where you can earn up to 15% of your referral's earnings. There is an earning tier which starts you at 5% for up to 5 referrals and ramps up to 15% once you have 50 referrals. I currently earn 10% and it may not seem like much, but it adds up. For example, at the time of this post I have 17 referrals. If each of my referrals earns $50 in a month, I would earn almost $65 from them. Realistically I have some referrals who don't participate in sponsored posts as much as others, but I do still average around $50 per month from my referral bonuses. Thats $50 in my pocket that other bloggers earn for me.
How Do You Get Referrals?
Well, there are many ways to get referrals to join Social Spark.
- First of all, put a banner on your website. Social Spark offers many different sizes and gives you the code with your referral link built in. This may not work as good as you hope, but I have gotten a couple of referrals from just my banners.
- Another way to bring attention to your readers is to write a post with your referral link about using Social Spark for a source of revenue to your blog. All bloggers want revenue, and posts offering a revenue source always peaks the readers interest.
- Social Media. That's right, I'm talking about Facebook, Twitter, G+ and the rest of them. 10 of my referrals were directly connected to the fact that I mentioned Social Spark (with my referral link) on Facebook Pages for bloggers, and in G+ blogging circles.
It takes time and your referral count may build very slowly. But every referral adds a little more. If you make it a goal to actively find at least 1 referral per month, within a year you'll have 12 bloggers putting money in your pocket. It's that simple. Can you imagine earning 15% of 50+ referrals?
